Aena defies convention with increased range

The Spanish government defied convention when it raised the price range on the privatisation of airports operator aena. Irrespective of demand, companies - on the advice of their bankers - traditionally do not move price ranges on European IPOs. It is the clearest example of the divergence between markets on either side of the Atlantic, with multiple ranges on US floats not uncommon.
