An 11-person team of former RBS bankers is starting this week at societe cenerale as the French bank restarts its commercial mortgage-backed securities effort, a person familiar with the matter said. SG has hired Wayne Potters to head the CMBS team, while Adam Ansaldi was brought aboard to lead CMBS securitisation and will report to Potters, the person said. Gary Swon, Joey Petras, Chris Kramer and Peter Lewicki will work on loan originations along with Stewart Whitman, who will focus on REITs.
