Hellman & Friedman, Deutsche Telekom Capital Partners and members of the board and management came together on Monday night to sell 6.5% of scout24 in an accelerated transaction managed by joint global coordinators Credit Suisse and Goldman Sachs. Barclays and JP Morgan were joint bookrunners. Launched at 5:10pm after a wall-crossing exercise, the sale of 7m shares was covered within an hour, with guidance of €32-€32.25 set at 6:45pm. Pricing at €32, which represents a 6.65% discount to the closing price of €34.28, was confirmed soon after the book closed at 7:15pm.
