Sleepless in Washington and Brussels

There's an old saying that if you can remember the 1960s, you weren't there. One day there will be an equivalent to the effect that if you knew what was going on in markets during February 2016, you weren't there either. To be fair, levels of economic uncertainty are significant and the outlook for sustainable growth is questionable. But while that might justify the occasional outbreak of fear and greed, I can't quite see how it can cause such a relentless onslaught on investors.
