BDCs show mixed results in competitive environment

Earnings season is well under way for business development companies and so far results are mixed for the closed-end investment funds that lend to private US middle market businesses. Funds including TCG BDC, TPC Specialty Lending, Apollo Investments, Monroe Capital Corp, and TICC Capital Corp were among nearly a dozen vehicles that posted results last week for the three-month period ended September 30.
