Eurex plans corporate bond futures

eurex will launch the first futures on a European corporate bond index in September, addressing the need for new hedging tools alongside growth in fixed income exchange traded funds. The contracts reference the EuroStoxx 50 Corporate Bond index, which tracks the performance of euro-denominated investment-grade bonds issued by constituents of the eurozone blue-chip equity benchmark.
