Euronext grabs 90% of FastMatch

European exchange operator EURONEXT is to buy FASTMATCH, an electronic communications network, as part of a push into foreign exchange activity. Euronext said last week it will buy a 90% interest in FastMatch for US$153m in cash. FastMatch is to remain involved in the development of the business and keep a 10% interest in the company.
