Altice preps for US IPO

Cable TV flotations are a rare sight in the US IPO landscape, but investors could see at least two issues out of the industry in the coming months. Last month saw sponsor-backed WIDEOPENWEST, the US's sixth largest cable | operator with annual revenues of US$1.2bn, file to go public. ALTICE USA, the US arm of French mogul Patrick Drahi's aggressively acquisitive cable company Altice, has now joined the fray, filing for a long-anticipated IPO that could raise more than US$lbn.
