Argentine electric utility PAMPA ENERGIA is moving ahead with plans to raise up to US$500m from the sale of a convertible bond under an expanded debt programme, the company revealed in a filing with local securities regulators this week. While approved by the board, the funding initiative still needs to be approved by shareholders.
