The latest crop of US-listed SPACs has brought international diversification. new frontier, the China-focused SPAC headed by former Hong Kong finance secretary and ex-Blackstone China chairman Antony Leung, is the most recent with US$250m raised on its IPO. Despite the NYSE listing, a hefty component of the deal was allocated to Asian investors.
