Investors showed strong demand for a mix of FIG bonds that ranged from the safest of structures to more rate-sensitive long bonds. The rush of deals included the first US dollar covered bond this year, from Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, which was swiftly followed by the second, from DNB Boligkreditt (see Covered Bonds).
