Orion upbeat on Asia private debt after Canada investment

After logging more than US$lbn of private debt investments in the past eight years, ORION CREDIT CAPITAL ASIA is accelerating the pace of its direct lending and expects to match that amount over the next three years. The Singapore-based middle-market lender expects to invest around US$300m this year across Asia-Pacific following an equity investment in January from Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System, the C$105bn (US$78bn) Canadian pension fund.
