SWISS INTERNATIONAL AIR LINES, part of Deutsche Lufthansa, has agreed a SFrl.5bn (US$1.65bn) revolving credit facility with a guarantee from the Swiss state to secure the company's liquidity during the coronavirus crisis. The financing, which is for Swiss International Air Lines and sister company Edelweiss Air, was arranged by UBS and Credit Suisse as coordinators and mandated lead arrangers with a syndicate of banks. UBS is also facility gent and security agent on the financing. Baker McKenzie advised the banks on the transaction. The financing has an 85% guarantee from the Swiss Federal Department of the Environment, Transport, Energy and Communications.
