Construction group EIFFAGE has cancelled the additional €600m bridge loan it put in place to strengthen its liquidity during the onset of the coronavirus pandemic after issuing a €500m bond in June. The debut unrated bond matures in January 2027 and pays a coupon of 1.625%. The bridge loan, which was agreed in April, bridged the company's long-standing €600m trade receivables securitisation programme, addressing a temporary decline in volumes invoiced. Multinational retail and distribution group auchan has amended its existing €lbn back-up credit line to extend the financing by one year to June 2022. The amended facility also includes the option to extend for a further year. Auchan strengthened its liquidity in the first half of 2020 to help it weather the Covid-19 storm.
