Canned foods company bumble bee foods has received approval to access US$280m in debtor-in-possession financing. The DIP financing comprises a US$200m asset-based loan, which includes the roll-up of approximately US$192.4m in outstanding pre-petition ABL debt, and an US$80m delayed-draw term loan. Wells Fargo is the ABL DIP lender, while Brookfield and TCW Asset Management are term loan DIP lenders. Brookfield is also term loan DIP agent.
