DNB BANK broke through the 5% pricing barrier to land an US$850m Additional Tier 1 at 4.875% on Tuesday, with the deal almost six times subscribed at its peak. Barclays, BNP Paribas, DNB, Goldman Sachs and HSBC began marketing the perpetual non-call five-year notes during Asian market hours with initial guidance of 5.25% area. Bookbuilding continued after the European open and the deal was launched on more than US$5bn of pre-reconciled orders.
