Brazil's Banco Inter takes premium deposit from SoftBank

BANCO OMTER scored a major endorsement from softbank group after the Japanese tech investor stepped in to buy the bulk of a R$1.3bn (US$343.3m) follow-on offer by the digital-only Brazilian bank. On Monday morning, ahead of pricing, SoftBank committed to purchase 19m of the 26m units on offer at R$39.99. Existing investors had already committed to purchase 6m units as part of a preemptive rights process, leaving iust 1m units for new investors.
