摘要

The regime change that is key to unlocking value for holders of Venezuelan bonds seemed within reach last week only to evaporate suddenly as attempts to topple embattled President Nicolas Maduro came to naught. After several days of protests, markets remained unclear about just who had the upper hand -Maduro or the US-backed leader Juan Guaido whose call for an uprising led to street clashes last week.
