Traton heads up Limited, tech-skewed midsummer IPO pipeline

VW's truck unit traton will be one of a relatively small number of IPOs to be launched before the summer holidays, with even the most active banks expecting to float only a handful of companies at best before mid-July. Volkswagen surprised the market last Monday when it said the €5bn IPO would take place before the summer break. Traditionally, IPO activity in Europe is geared towards finishing in the first half of July as bankers and investors begin to head off on holiday after that.
