Eagerly awaited Trainline kicks off float

Following a registration document the previous Wednesday, online train and coach ticket retailer trainline has kicked off pre-marketing for what is likely to be one of the most highly anticipated European IPOs of the year. With a market capitalisation expected to be around £1.5bn, and a free-float in excess of 25% but potentially closer to 40%, Trainline will not be the largest float in Europe by any means.
