North Korea is an unlikely destination for a football tour, but any Premier League club hoping to crack the market for replica shirts in Pyongyang might want to give Florian Schmidt a ring. The former debt capital markets banker has been a regular visitor over the last decade or so, and recently arranged a trip for his football club in Singapore. The team, comprised of German amateurs, was on the receiving end of two drubbings after being unexpectedly paired with one of North Korea's top professional teams. (The Germans did manage to save some face, though, after winning a one-off penalty shoot-out 7-6.).
