US tech stays hot as Barclays, UBS hire

Barclays and ubs have poached investment bankers from rivals in the US technology space, as banks gear up for internet and other tech listings. Barclays has hired Robert Peck, an investment banker focused on the internet space who previously worked at Credit Suisse, the second internet banker it has hired in the past two months. Peck will be a chairman of global internet banking starting in June in New York. He will report to Laurence Braham and Greg Dalvito, co-heads of technology banking at Barclays, the bank said.
