摘要

Equities trading has been a bright spot in bank trading groups during the last couple of years as debt trading has been in a funk, but that stalled in the first quarter as equities revenues fell more than 20% across the big US banks. MORGAN STANLEY still came out on top in the quarter with revenue of US$2bn, but that was off 21% from the year ago quarter. GOLDMAN SACHS edged out rival JP MORGAN to hold the second spot with revenue of US$1.77bn, despite a 24% drop from a year ago.
