Barmag Executive Sees Signs of Upturn in Manmade Fiber Machinery Market

All the signs are good for an upturn in demand in the synthetic fiber machinery market, but machinery builders aren't out of the woods yet. That's the view of Martin Stillger, member of the executive board of Barmag AG, who believes the worldwide market hit rock bottom last year at around $653 million — down from about $1.3 billion prior to the Asian financial crisis of the latter 1990s.
