Advansa Sells PET Operations to La Seda

Advansa will sell its polyethylene terephthalate (PET), purified tereph-thalic acid (PTA) and preform businesses currently operating in the UK, Turkey and Romania to Spain's La Seda de Barcelona for EUR 320 million. Completion of the deal is subject to regulatory approvals and is expected to take place by October 1, 2006.
