The effects of the financial and energy crises on the real economy and subsequent cost-saving measures must not obscure the sight towards a positive future. So said the organizer of the 48th Dornbirn Man-Made Fibres Congress, which will dedicate more than two days on developing models for solutions on how to implement more quality-minded, innovative, sustainable, environmentally-friendly, resource-saving findings from industry and academic research into optimized manufacturing processes and multifunctional, market-suitable products. The congress, which features more than 100 expert lectures, takes place September 16-18 in Austria.
