SAHM introduces BoDo Ⅱ bobbin doffer technology at Tech- textil North America

Georg Sahm GmbH & Co. KG introduced the latest generation of its BoDo technology, BoDo II, at the Techtextil North America show (Aug. 23-25) in Raleigh, North Carolina. This latest generation of SAHM's bobbin doffer provides mobile, fully automatic doffing and transport for bobbin and tube handling in winding applications. The pick-up of bobbins at the winding machine, as well as set-up with empty tubes, is performed entirely automatically - just like the transport of bobbins and their delivery to freely defined locations in the production workflow. Working with centralized fleet management software, BoDo Ⅱ robots operate as genuine team players and enable continuous 24/7 operation. The technology provides exact positioning, free radius of movement, network integration for intelligent fleet management, and safe and secure 360-degree environment detection ensuring safe operation in conjunction with people, vehicles and machines.
