Epilepsy Foundation Victoria (EFV) in Australia has found a novel way of raising awareness about epilepsy; although there is nothing new about this sporting activity. Dragon boating claims origins in Southern China stretching back about 2500 years. And there are two legends as to why it all began in the first place: one camp believing it had to do fertility rites to ensure a bountiful harvest, while others put it down to an ancient 'pillar of society' called Qu Yuan, a poet and Minister of State during the Chou Dynasty.
