MSA's new compact CHILLGARD M-100 Refrigerant Sensor can be mounted almost any-where to detect potential leaks of halogenated refrige-rants from 0-1,000 ppm to meet require-ments of European Standards in refrigera-tion and heating installations. Resulting from many years of photoacoustic infrared refrigerant sensing research and application in industrial environments, this sensor provides easy installation; no moving parts, low-maintenance and high sensitivity detection level down to 20 ppm. It also complies with detection requirements of ASHRAE 15-2004 and reliably operates over wide temperature and humidity ranges, including, operation down to -30℃ with an optional de-icer.
