Start of the BlueCompetition 2013

Scientific workgroups from research institutions all over the world can now register for the BlueCompetition held by BlueSens gas sensor GmbH (Germany).The contest is about the application of gas analysis in Bioprocessing.The gas analysers and software from the German manufacturer can be used in all fields of Bioprocessing for monitoring and analysing metabolic processes in a wide range. The workgroups will receive the measuring equipment from BlueSens on loan basis for free. After the application phase the teams will have time from June till October to run their experiments in their own laboratories and to complete a project report with their results. An independent scholarly jury will judge the contributed abstracts and will find out the three best groups. As a financial incentive for the teams the total prise money for the award is set to 9,000 Euro.
