摘要

All plant operators producing energy from biogas, sewer gas or landfill gas aim to optimise processes and thus ensure greater efficiency. At the same time, however, harmful components in the gas need to be kept to a minimum. Only constant monitoring of the composition of the raw biogas in a plant can indicate changes before it is too late and thereby prevent prolonged outages. For example, if there is a warning of too much H_2S at the measurement location before the motor, the operator can act immediately to protect the motor from expensive damage.
