Wellington, New Zealand—The New Zealand government Dec. 11 released a draft energy strategy and two complementary discussion papers that outlined measures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and improve energy security.rnThe government announced that a separate draft document, this one for a National Energy Efficiency and Conservation Strategy, would be released Dec. 14. This will be part of the main energy strategy and is intended to address demand-side issues.
