European Commission Proposes Fee System To Register Chemicals Under REACH Plan

The European Commission has proposed that companies pay a fee to have their chemicals registered as will be required under the anticipated REACH legislation on Registration, Evaluation, and Authorization of Chemicals, a Commission official said Sept. 20.
