Spain to Trim Feed-in Rates for Renewables;Pledges Sector Will Have More Legal Security

The Spanish government has adopted a new law which it said will give the renewable energy sector more legal and technical security. Royal Decree 1565/2010, which the Council of Ministers approved Nov. 19, went into force the day after its publication Nov. 23 in the Boletin Oficial del Estado, Spain's national register.
