摘要

Greater investments in water sanitation and distribution are among the most cost-effective ways to achieve the United Nations' Millennium Development Goals, according to a statement issued at the close of the World Water Week conference in Stockholm.rnOrganized by the Stockholm International Water Institute, the Sept. 5-11 conference drew international water industry players and representatives of governments and advocacy organizations. Sessions included industry-related presentations on water recycling, pollution control, pollution prevention training, water-saving techniques, and the impact of mandatory reduction targets for water usage.
