British Cities Adopt Action Plans to Manage Noise Levels From Road, Rail, Air Traffic

More than 20 of Britain's largest urban areas March 15 adopted Noise Action Plans requiring local highway, rail, and air authorities to take action to address environmental noise.rnThe plans will apply to the 23 largest urban areas in England as well as the major road and rail links between the areas. Each area prepared its own specific action plan geared to its own specific noise problems.
