China Issues Rules to Govern Development, Construction of Offshore Wind Power Projects

China's National Energy Administration (NEA) and the State Oceanic Administration (SOA) have issued interim regulations regarding the development and construction of offshore wind energy projects.rnThe Interim Measures for Offshore Wind Power Development and Management include 10 chapters and 38 articles detailing requirements for planning, authorization, application, approval, and verification of offshore wind power projects. As of Feb. 22 the regulations had not yet been posted to the websites of NEA or SOA.
