摘要

A series of inspections targeting Norway's construction industry found that every third company lacked adequate written procedures for handling hazardous waste.rnOverseen by the nation's Climate and Pollution Control Directorate (KLIF) last fall and detailed in a Jan. 27 written statement, the inspections found similar deficiencies with regard to the handling of dangerous chemicals.rnAccording to the statement, about 50 of 150 inspected companies were found to be lacking in some respect. While an absence of written procedures was the most common failing, some substances used in interior furnishings were found to exceed permitted limits.
