ECHA Urges Early REACH Registration For 2,685 Chemicals Ahead of 2013 Deadline

Lead registrants responsible for assembling REACH chemical registration dossiers ahead of a deadline of May 31, 2013, should ideally submit their dossiers by the end of March 2013, the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) said May 23. Submission ahead of the deadline would allow the dossiers' completeness to be checked, and registration numbers to be issued, so other members of Substance Information Exchange Forums (SIEFs) would have enough time to submit their registrations, ECHA said.
