European Commission Approves Antidumping Duties on Chinese Solar Panel Imports

The European Commission on May 8 approved provisional antidumping duties on solar panels imported from China. The move followed a nine-month investigation into accusations from European manufacturers that competing Chinese products were being sold below production costs and had contributed to the bankruptcy of more than a dozen firms.
