Enbridge Inc. has won Canadian federal government approval to build a new $844.3 million (US$765.7 million), 570,000 barrel-a-day crude oil pipeline from Edmonton to Hardisty, Alberta, the hub for a number of pipelines including the delayed Tran-sCanada Keystone XL as well as oil-by-rail terminals, the company confirmed April 23.
