摘要

United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and other top UN officials warned June 29 that the more than 190 nations negotiating a climate accord had to pick up the pace if they hope to sign it by the end of the year. "The negotiating pace is slow-far too slow," Ban told reporters on the sidelines of a one-day climate forum at UN headquarters in New York. Ban said he has grown increasingly worried about progress, given that the final round of talks in Paris is only five months away.
