California Partners With Germany To Cut Carbon Emissions

Germany Nov. 18 announced a partnership with California to cut carbon emissions. In a bilateral accord, Germany and the U.S. state vowed to coordinate "decisive" policy to ease global warming, the German Environment Ministry said in an e-mail. The move was sealed in Marrakech, Morocco, where policy makers met to discuss ways to implement pledges made in the Paris climate agreement reached last year at United Nations talks.
