摘要

Mexico said it would seek $472.3 million in annual retaliatory trade tariffs against the U.S. because it failed to comply with a 2015 World Trade Organization ruling on dolphin-safe labeling restrictions. On March 16, Mexico asked the WTO's dispute settlement body to schedule a meeting to consider its request to reduce U.S. tariff concessions equal to the level of harm caused to Mexico's domestic fishing industry.
