Green Bonds Eyed by Austria's New Government to Fund Renewables

Austria's new government said it's looking to issue green bonds to build out renewable power capacity. Chancellor Sebastian Kurz's government is "evaluating an 'Austrian Green Bonds' pilot project," according to a policy paper. Kurz, 31, was sworn in Dec. 18 as the youngest head of government after his conservative People's Party agreed to a coalition with the nationalist Freedom Party.
