Textile Trio in Joint Shanghai Conference

The Society of Dyers and Colourists (SDC), jointly with the China Textile Information Centre (CTIC) and the American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists (AATCC), organised a conference on the theme 'Colour technology for best practice and sustain-ability in the textile supply chain', in Shanghai, to coincide with the recent ITMA Asia + CITME exhibition. Executive sponsors included Clariant and DyStar. The focus of the conference, from July 23-25, was on colour, dyeing and finishing, but with a distinct emphasis on environmental issues and sustainability. Over 300 delegates attended, with speakers from several leading organisations, based both in China and in other countries.
