As the new membership year begins, the Society of Dyers and Colourists is planning to attract new members from all over the world - colourists who are serious about their profession and committed to the industry. People who recognise the benefits that membership brings to them personally, their employers and the development of best practice as a whole. New for members in 2009 is the new-style membership magazine, The Colourist. Now in A4 format, it contains news, reports and interviews, and features in-depth articles on a wide range of technical topics. Overtime it is hoped to cover almost every aspect of coloration, so that it becomes an invaluable source of knowledge and information. In addition, members will continue to receive full online access to ColourClick, electronic updates on colour-related topics and membership news, answers to questions and queries via the technical e-hotline, and discounts on selected magazines, books and products. And, of course, the opportunity to network and to join specialist and sectoral groups.
