Chinatex Takes Major Fountain Set Stake

Chinatex is to become the largest shareholder in Fountain Set, a global producer of knitted fabrics. As part of the deal it will take approximately 34% of the shares issued by the company. Following the transaction, which was announced at the firm's extraordinary general meeting, Fountain Set's current chairman, Ha Chung Fong, his family trust and his associates will hold approximately 28.56% shares of the group.
