Shanghai Showcase Continues to Expand

This year's itma asia + citme will be fully 15% bigger than the previous edition in 2012, according to the organisers. Total exhibition space at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) will surpass 150,000 square metres. 1TMA ASIA + CITME 2014 - the fourth edition of the show - will feature around 1,350 textile-machinery manufacturers from 27 countries and regions. Chinese companies will take up the largest area, with ]ust over 66% of the exhibition space, followed by European machinery manufacturers with more than 22%. It is notable how much the Chinese share has grown since the inception of the event, when balance with Europe was roughly equal. The show will be held across 13 halls, with dyeing-and-finishing machinery concentrated in Halls E6, E7 and the newer Hall N5 -meaning that the most convenient access for visitors is via the SNIEC's Entrance Hall 3.
