Advanced QC at Avocet

A new datacolor 650 spectrophotometer with full software package including Tools & Match Textile with smart match technology has been installed at UK dye manufacturer Avocet. The versatile Datacolor 650 allows for both reflectance and transmission measurements, giving increased flexibility when assessing colour. This new system has now replaced the previous spectro and QC software which although fully functional had become dated in terms of its flexibility. Managing director Michael Lever said: "We invested in the latest state of the art Datacolor 650 spectro and software to enhance our QC capabilities with the best available technology to carefully analyse all aspects of colour standardisation for our global customers.
